Welcome to New York Orthopedic Specialists and the practice of Dr. Scott Haig and our founder, Dr. Armen Haig. Our goal in preparing this website has been to show patients and potential patients who we are and what we do, as well some important information about the orthopedic problems we treat.
Dr. Scott Haig is a nationally recognized shoulder specialist and author of Shoulder Pathophysiology a major textbook of shoulder surgery. He has valuable expertise in many other areas of orthopedics as well, having now performed well over ten thousand orthopedic operations in his career. Problems of the hand, elbow, hip, knee and foot, as well as fractures, are treated regularly, and successfully, in our practice.
Still currently accepting Medicare, Compensation, No-fault, major HMO's and medical plans, our practice also welcomes responsible patients, regardless of their insurance, with consistantly fair rates and affordable payment plans. Accident cases and second opinions are also accepted here. Dr. Haig is affiliated with three fine hospitals, Greenwich Hospital, Lawrence Hospital and New York Presbyterian-Columbia where he serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery. Our offices are in Scarsdale New York and Greenwich, Connecticut.
